No sooner than it seems that Dem Ones were just here, it is now time to formally introduce the line up for veteran-clad Extravaganza 2016’s Group Two—The Tattoos (so known for their propensity to tattoo anything that moves with a Circle C tattoo!).
Heading up the pack and returning after a year off, is Walsh Vineyards Wine grower of fine grapes Tim “Squawfish” Rogers who returns this year with his veteran and yellow-attracting daughter Mardi “CT” Rodgers, the former so named from his insisting to count a squawfish as a “fish” on a bet years ago with yours truly, and the latter so bestowed because she sleeps in the bed at our jointly owned Blackfoot house with a cutthroat above it. Right on their heels is the returning Napa Gang of Three, wine experts Joe “Compari” Ciatti, Greg “Good Living” Livengood, and Adam “Iron Man” Eichorn who, this year will be joined by Good Living’s longtime pal, rookie Stewart Marlborough.
Also back in the wonderful mix is the foursome of pomegranate gurus Jerry “The Juice” Pantaleo and Brad “Maven” Miller together with their respective sons Tony “No Neck” and Jack “Son of Maven” who, likewise, are rejoined with the ever-returning Marin County father-son tag team of Al “Good Earth” Baylacq and son “Smokin’ Dakota” and the one and only “Big Cheese”, now Sonoma city councilman Gary Edwards.
After a long absence, I am pleased to announce that on-line national educational expert “Montana Tim” Foster will be reuniting with his long-ago Twos (Tim was featured in our Extravaganza move many years ago when he was with us) and that he will have a chance this year to meet and be with fellow National Wildlife Federation board member of mine from Houston, Mary Van Kerrebrook and her high school aged son, Bob Corpening.
So there you have it, the Mighty Tattoos, this year sixteen strong, all of whom hope to pick right up fishing-wise right where the Wonderful Ones just left off!!
Best to all from the scene of it all,
Rock Creek Ron
